OEM of Semiconductor Fab Plant Air Quality Monitoring Equipment

Situation: OEM needs high performance supplier for complex wire harnesses, as well as optical sensor and power supply/distribution modules. Quality is critical, but as a lower volume component, in-house production was adding volatility to OEM’s labor and production planning.

Solution: With decades of expertise in electromechanical assemblies, GA was able to seamlessly take over production and smooth out the OEM’s labor hours while maintaining precision and quality.

Partnership: GA has grown with the OEM taking over additional assemblies as well as working collaboratively with OEM to improve the component and assembly design and design for manufacturing. Additionally, GA has taken over optical block testing stations and equipment to ensure ongoing quality in critical precision assemblies while also adding record keeping and traceability which did not exist prior.
